The outer shell is shaped like an arch made of an innovative new alloy material called Galvalume Plus™. It consists of 55% aluminum and 45% zinc. The material is also 85% more reflective than traditional aluminum, which results in much lower energy spenditure. The shell has a 30 year guarantee, and lifetime support. 

Self sufficient options 

Together with the outer shell, the building can be delivered with an optional solar roof and hyper modern battery solution that makes the entire building self sufficient with energy. It basically means that with an off the grid plot, you can build your Moonline Home without being connected to the electricity grid.

It’s the strongest structure we know about. Together with steel, the only material strong enough to build sky scrapers, the Steel Arch Shell of your Moonline house is practically unbreakable. Extreme weather, earthquakes, pests and insects will not stand a chance against your outer shell. We also deliver options like underground bunkers and air pollution filters if you want to feel extra secure in your new home.

No other industry spend as much natural resources as the construction industry. The volume of natural resources used in buildings and transport infrastructure increased 23-fold between 1900 and 2010

We need to build more efficiently and waste less of our resources. Our buildings need to last longer and become the inputs of future constructions at the end of their lifetime. 

That is why our buildings are extremely durable and made by 100% recycled aluminum, a highly sustainable material. Together with it’s superior energy sufficient shell design, ultra fast construction time and the opportunity to expand and even move the entire structure at any later point leaves a minimal carbon footprint.

Currently, only 12% of materials used for buildings and infrastructure come from recycling. In part, this is due to the fact that globally, four times more materials are used in building than are released as demolition waste. A Moonline Home is primarily build of recycled aluminum instead of concrete (not recyclable) and the entire building is generally above 80% recyclable instead of the industry standard of only 12%.

The potential for recycling is very large. Buildings and infrastructure are ageing and in the next 20 years alone there could be as much as 270 billion tonnes of demolished.
